My Story
Ashley Malone was born in Southern California and spent her early childhood between California and Kentucky before her family settled permanently in Kentucky in 2008. A proud alumnus of John Hardin High School, Ashley earned her Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies from Western Kentucky University in 2018 before returning to complete her Master of Social Work at WKU in 2024.
Ashley has worked in the social services field for more than eight years and has experience serving individuals across a variety of settings. She is a Certified Social Worker (CSW), licensed through the Kentucky Board of Social Work. In addition to providing therapy, Ashley teaches at WKU in their social work program.
Prior to outpatient practice, she provided intensive inpatient therapy for individuals in recovery, helping clients build the skills and confidence needed to pursue lasting change. Ashley is passionate about helping people recognize their own strengths and potential. Her favorite part of being a social worker is witnessing the moment clients realize they are worthy of more than they once believed and begin taking meaningful steps—whether big or small—toward creating the life they want.
Ashley is under the supervision of Tatjana Lynn, LCSW.
