Here's where it all begins...
June 1st, 2022...
Creative Counseling & Consultation, PLLC, was formed officially in January of 2022 by Christopher Longoria, LCSW, RPT-S and Krista Mitchell, LCSW, RPT-S, a husband and wife counseling team. Chris and Krista have previously worked in community mental health as well as private practice and on June 1st of 2022, decided to strike out on their own to create their own private practice.
Both Chris and Krista believe in making therapy as accessible as possible. Because of this, we are able to offer services in school at Elizabethtown Independent School District, virtually over telehealth and in home. Additionally, Creative Counseling & Consultation, PLLC accepts most major forms of health insurance.
Our practice while primarily serving kids age 3-18, also provides services to adults through telehealth across the Commonwealth.
Therapy should be engaging and enjoyable
At Creative Counseling & Consultation, PLLC we are happy to "sit and talk" like the therapists of old. But we try to make therapy as fun and engaging as possible. Whether that is through the use of Legos, a therapeutic board game or art, we find a meaningful and interesting way to engage the kids and families we serve.

Whether you are a mom bringing your 3 year old child, or a 45 year old wanting to work on managing their depression, we try to make each session meaningful and memorable. You will develop insight into yourself, your child and learn meaningful strategies to getting you through the ups and downs of life.
Collaboration is critical
We work with families and as appropriate, those in their lives to help make lasting differences for kids. Whether it is working with their teachers, doctors, social worker or others, we will work together with those that have an impact in your child's life with consent to create better and lasting positive outcomes

We are professionals, but as a parent or guardian, you know your kid better than anyone. We listen to you, your concerns and are sensitive to your family and your culture.
