My Story
Jeni is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 13 years of experience providing attachment-based therapy to adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She earned her master’s degree from Louisville Presbyterian Seminary and has worked in a variety of settings, including residential treatment programs for adolescents, retirement and assisted living communities, schools, outpatient mental health, and private practice.
Jeni approaches therapy with warmth, curiosity, and compassion, creating a safe space where clients feel understood and supported through life’s challenges. Drawing from both her clinical and seminary training, she strives to meet each person where they are while helping them build stronger connections with themselves and the people who matter most. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship concerns, parenting challenges, or a significant life transition, she is committed to walking alongside you with care and respect.
Her areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, trauma recovery, grief and bereavement, life transitions, premarital counseling, parenting support, adult ADHD, and AuDHD. Jeni is also a Prepare/Enrich facilitator and incorporates expressive and play-based interventions when appropriate. She considers it a privilege to partner with clients as they discover hope, healing, and lasting change.
