My Story

I earned my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Webster University in 2022
and hold three B.A. degrees in criminology, sociology, and psychology from Drury
University (2015). Since then, I’ve served in a variety of roles within the mental health
field and proudly worked as a Department of Defense civilian. Today, I continue to
support others while embracing life as a retired military spouse.

I live by two guiding principles: help others whenever and however I can, and spend as
much time as possible camping and fishing — because balance and peace matter too.
In my work, I aim to help you uncover inner strength you may not even realize you have.
We'll develop practical, personalized coping strategies — not just surface-level fixes —
and challenge anxious, negative thought patterns that may be holding you back.
Whether you're here to process pain, gain clarity, or simply feel more like yourself again,
I’m here to support you through every step.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered. I use a range of evidence-
based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered
therapy, trauma-informed care, play therapy, and strengths-based, solution-focused
techniques. I specialize in working with PTSD, complex trauma, military life and
transitions, anxiety, depression, mood and personality disorders, LGBTQ+ support,
behavioral issues, anger management, adjustment challenges, family conflict, and crisis
intervention. I also enjoy working with clients who are focused on self-discovery and
personal growth.

If you’re looking for a warm, supportive space to find healing, purpose, or simply
someone to help sort through life’s messiness, you’re in the right place. I’ll have the
coffee or tea ready — and we’ll take it one step at a time. You are enough, and you are
always welcome here.
